FDR 4x4 began around 10 years ago, when Freddie (Owner) with over 20 years in the trade made the step to go on his own to create an all round Land Rover and 4x4 workshop and parts centre, offering everything from services to full turn key rebuild, from an oil filter to a chassis.
Land Rovers have always been in his blood, starting at the age of 13 rebuilding a Series 2a with his Dad. After completing his apprenticeship at a local Land Rover specalist and learning his trade, he felt the need to also gain knowledge within the parts side of the business, being able to have a greater understanding of where the parts actually fitted and how they worked.
Freddie has a great love of motorsport and offroading, having competed in winch challenges both in the UK and Europe from the age of 15 and still likes to play in the mud when he can. He has a range of vehicles in the shed, including his much loved Ibex.
